Unwonted Art Co operates unwontedgoods.shop. This policy explains how the business collects, uses, and protects your information.
Information We Collect
When you place an order, the business collects your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment details are processed securely by Shopify and are never stored directly.
If you sign up for the newsletter, the business stores your email address, the page you signed up from, your IP address at the time of signup, and the date you consented. This is the only way the studio can confirm you opted in.
If you create an account, the business stores your email, display name, and the products you have added to your wishlist so they can be shown back to you.
If you send a message through the contact form, the business stores your name, email, and the message you sent so I can reply.
How Your Information Is Used
- To process and fulfill your orders
- To send order confirmation and shipping updates
- To send newsletter emails only if you have opted in. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link and the business's physical mailing address, and unsubscribes take effect immediately.
- To let you save products to a wishlist tied to your account
- To let the studio owner look up your order history in Shopify when responding to a support request
Tracking and Analytics
I do not run any third-party analytics or advertising trackers unless one is explicitly connected (Plausible, Google Analytics, etc). At that point this policy will be updated to name the provider and what it collects. The studio does not build behavioral profiles or share browsing data with advertisers.
The Business Does Not
The business does not sell your personal information to third parties or share your data with anyone other than fulfillment partners (Tapstitch, Knitwise) who need it solely to produce and ship your order, and Shopify and Resend, which are used to process orders and send email.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies to run the store (cart, session, sign-in). Optional analytics cookies are off by default and will only run if you accept them.
Your Rights
